A private house between the Atlantic forest and the sea. Quiet, green, and open to one of the most beautiful bays on the São Paulo coast.
Request a stayCasa Sahy sits on a hillside of Mata Atlântica above Barra do Sahy, one of the calmest beaches of the São Sebastião coast. A main house, private chalés, a pool on the terrace and a garden of stone paths, all facing the sea.

The house was built slowly, by hand, with brick, timber and glass that open completely toward the bay. Days here are simple: the sound of the forest, the pool warming in the morning sun, the beach a short walk downhill.
The view does not end. It just changes color.
High ceilings under exposed beams, a kitchen made for long lunches, bedrooms that wake up to the forest. The veranda runs the length of the house, and everything looks at the water.

The terrace, late afternoon.

The pool sits on the upper terrace, wrapped by forest on one side and the bay on the other. Hammocks, loungers, and nowhere you need to be.
Four private chalés stand apart from the main house, each with its own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Windows on every side, sea below, forest above.

Barra do Sahy, seen from the garden gate.
Mornings on the terrace, yoga on the deck above the bay. A walk down to the beach for the morning swim. Seafood at the village, trails through the Mata Atlântica, boats to quiet coves. In the evening, the sunset does the entertaining.
